Website Design and Content Development Services

Website Design

Designing websites is a complicated process. Most clients want something special, dynamic and very effective at generating new business. Past that, they have no clue about what they really want until you put something in front of them.

The way Front Page PR handles website design is to hold a preliminary meeting and listen to what we think you want. Then using past experience, your input and some designated goals and objectives, we will have a graphic designer sketch up a design of what we think you want your website to look like. We present the look and feel on paper in story board format.

Once we have a paper based design blessed by you, we have the graphic designer build an electronic duplicate of the story board version. We hold another meeting and get you to sign off on the electronic version, which will look just like the real website once it is built. As soon as we get your second approval, we use a software tool that chops up the electronic version and generates the html code that turn the graphic into a real website.

The website will only be a template, which includes files for the top, bottom, left and right menus of the page. The links and words describing the links will only be garbled text place holders. In addition, we leave the middle portion of the page blank so that someone on the corporate side can begin to add to text content. It will be easy as opening a word document for the client to open a page, add content and save the new page.

The cost for building a website template, with no content is a one time fee of $3,000.

Developing text content for web links, web content and maintenance of the site will be negotiated separately.

Website Metatag Development

Every web page should have a unique title, description, set of keywords and other important metatags. An astounding 60% of websites do not have this one simple task done. Without the proper tags, your website will never rank in the top 10 search results of any search engine. We will work with your marketing team to define a set of preliminary keywords. We will then perform an extensive competitive analysis and compile a list of recommended metatags for your main index page. Website Content Development

If we are handling your public relations, we will generate a lot of written materials to educate the media and analysts. Re-use of this content for your website is free. If your website needs additional copy developed for individual web pages, we will write the copy for $1 per word.

Website RSS Feeds

We can develop many different types of RSS feeds for your website. We can develop industry news, press releases, sales, marketing, technical support, white papers, tradeshow events, and reseller information feeds. These information feeds can be used to publish information on your own website and Blogs, as well as to distribute information to the rest of the Internet. The cost to build each RSS feed is $500 per feed, then a monthly fee of $100 to use the service. Multiple feeds will count toward a multiple feed discount.

In addition to creating the RSS feed process, someone will need to be assigned to approving daily content for the RSS feed to publish. Front Page PR can manage this process for $10 per each item approved. Editorial guidelines for each RSS feed will need to be approved by the Client.

Website RSS Feed Marketing

Once the RSS feeds are developed and have content ready to publish, the next step is to begin marketing the feeds to the top 50 RSS feed directories. This is a very time consuming process that requires a lot of time, but is well worth the effort. We will show you how to do it for free. Once you try it, you'll see why we charge $2,000 per feed to market the feeds to the leading RSS directories. There are no discounts for marketing multiple feeds.

Website Forms, Security, Ecommerce Carts, Merchant Accounts

We can also build very complicated features that some clients may require such as sign up forms, registration forms, password protected areas, Sequel Server databases, ssl certificates, electronic commerce shopping carts, and merchant accounts that will let you sell your products and services on line. We charge $200 per hour to perform complex programming that involves sql server, forms and ecommerce functionality.

Website Blogs

We can setup a Blog for your company. We will build the graphics, select the news feeds and set up your executives to gain access, post comments and select content that they want posted. In addition, we can set up separate private Blogs that collect and publish information in a war room format, which is password protected. The cost to setup a Blog is a 1x fee of $2,000. Maintenance of the Blog will be negotiated separately.
